Congratulations to the Victorian Under 18 boys Lacrosse team who won the 2018 Championship title. Well done to Altona stars Jasper Hana-Roberts, Joel Kukucka and William McDonald who did the club proud.
Jasper, Joel and William will join recent Altona young stars to represent Victoria in the Under 18 National Championships, Cameron Keenan, Lachlan McDonald and Nick Burgess for what should be an exciting 2018 season in State League for the young and talented Altona Vikings Team.
Good Luck to the Altona boys who will be heading to Adelaide for the Under 18 Championships this weekend.

Thank you to Jacob Zimmerman for organising a great day at the Altona Lacrosse Club for the Young Vikings v Old Vikings. Thank you also to club legends Alan Frost, Graham Sharpe and Alan Caldwell for umpiring the game, the chefs for the night Liz, Anna K, Anna L, Vicki and Nicole.

Congratulations to the Old Vikings who beat the Young Vikings and Brian Mackinnon for best on ground honours.
1st Annual Young Vikings Vs. Old Vikings.
The Old Vikings (28+), legends of the ALC – the men with 1000’s of games worth of experience are strapping up the boots again to compete against the young up and coming members of the club, the Young Vikings(Under 28).
Both teams have a point to prove, there will surely be some battered and bruised bodies afterwards; but its set to be a great day!
Venue: PJ Lynch Reserve, Paisley Park, Mason Street, Altona North
– Half-time Entertainment
– Raffles and prizes throughout the day
– Commentary of the game and music to be played throughout the event
– Legends of the club will be returning

– Dinner available after the game
Come on down and bring your friends to what will surely be an entertaining game of lacrosse to say the least.
Who knows Graham Mackinnon might end up pulling on a jersey, scoring 6 goals in a quarter while having a broken arm!
Preseason for all seniors, men and women will begin Tuesday 30th of January 2018, 6:00pm start. BYO drink bottle.
Preseason for all juniors will commence at a later date to be announced, however all juniors welcome to come down have a run and throw and even participate in the running, strength and conditioning training.
The Altona Lacrosse Club is seeking international male and female players for the 2018 Lacrosse season. Positions are limited.

who made the Victorian Under 18 Girls and Boys teams to compete in the 2018 Nationals held in South Australia later this year. All four join recent Altona juniors to make selection, Cameron Keenan, Lachlan McDonald and Nick Burgess in just the last few years. It is very promising for the Altona Lacrosse Club as all of these six boys also play in our senior State League Men’s Team with Lauren McMahon a major player in our Women’s A-Grade Team.

Congratulations to Altona junior players Aaron Lewer, Eden Hana-Roberts and Logan Tapuala (Wyndham Lacrosse) on winning the 2017 U15 Boys National Championships held in Perth, Western Australia. The boys continue the Western Metros Team winning streak with the team bringing home the trophy at the 2016 Championships.
Congratulations also to Altona juniors Lauren McMahon, Dylan Kukucka and Thomas Bennet-Hullins for competing in the tournament. Lauren playing in the Victorian U15 Ice team and Dylan and Thomas in the Presidents team.
Congratulations to Altona juniors William McDonald, Joel Kukucka and Kieren McMahon on breaking the drought by bringing home the 2016 Under 15 Boys Nationals Winners Trophy. William was one of the captains of the Western Metros team who along with all Altona boys played a big part in the final game.
